Rosaline J. Turner
Rosaline Jane Wince Turner, 86, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, April 1, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Turner was born in 1927, in Slanesville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Nellie Wince. She was a graduate of Romney High School in West Virginia. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and was formerly employed as a clerk at Round Hill Shopping Center, Winchester, Virginia. She attended Round Hill United Methodist Church.
She married Carol Lorraine (Joe) Turner, he preceded her in death on February 17, 2012. They were married over 65 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Lenora Crim and husband, Gary, of Clarke County, Virginia, Mary Snapp and husband, Joe, of Winchester; three sons, Bernard Turner, Richard Turner and Harry Turner and wife, Regina, all of Winchester; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Hott of Romney, West Virginia; and her caregiver and beloved best friend, Beth Cook. Her brother, Frank Wince, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 on Friday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Steven Wells and Pastor Roy Riley officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Joey Turner, Josh Crim, Jon Crim, Ben Snapp, Levi Snapp and Ronnie Cook.
