Rosa “Rosie” Lee Creamer
Rosa Lee Creamer, age 79, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, October 13, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Creamer was born in 1933, in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Roxie Shoewalter Garber. She was employed as a secretary at O’Sullivan Corporation. Rosie was a loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for her family. She was known for her love of reading, cross word puzzles and kitchen table meteorology. Later in life she was recognized for bringing up her grandson, Troy, “by hand.”
Rosa is survived by her daughters, Denise Pittenger, of Winchester, Virginia, Kathy Snapp of Boyce, Virginia; one son, Kenneth C. Cammer, Jr. of Winchester, Virginia; seven grandchildren; Liz, Meghan, Troy, Evan, Courtney, Megan and Grace; two son-in-laws Gerre Pittenger, Gary Snapp; one daughter-in-law, Heather Cammer; sisters, Patty Hawkins, Susan Smith, Diane Kave, Ramona Boyce, and Mary Jane Harringan: as well as a brother, David Garber.
Rosa is preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Kenneth C. Cammer, Sr., and her former husband, C. Robert Creamer, Jr. whom she married in 1970. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Carol Carter.
All funeral services will be private.
