Ronald W. Mowbray, Sr.

Ronald Wayne Mowbray, Sr., 51, Frederick County, Virginia died Sunday, June 17, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Mowbray was born in 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of Irene S. Mowbray of Winchester, VA and the late Maynard F. Mowbray. He was a tractor trailer driver for 27 years, and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Winchester Chapter of the American Legion, and he loved building model cars, trucks and airplanes. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Surviving with his mother is a daughter, Tiffany Mowbray of Winchester, VA; a son, Ronald W. Mowbray, Jr. of Winchester, currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy; two grandchildren, Madison Nicole Mowbray and Cheyenne Renae Landin; three sisters, Joyce Moore of Winchester, Patricia Graham of Sacramento, CA and Mary Kline of Winchester; a brother, John Franklin Mowbray of Winchester. He is also survived by his former wife, Louann Gallagher of Portsmouth, VA.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at Elk Run Cemetery, Elkton, VA at 2:00 PM

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8:00 PM at Omps South Chapel.
