Ronald “Kevin” Gordon

        Ronald Kevin Gordon, 46, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at his home.

 

Mr. Gordon was born in 1967, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Ronald E. and Marian Gordon.  Mr. Gordon was a past piece worker with NW-Works in Winchester, and a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Kevin was known for his love of the Washington Redskins, basketball and loud country music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 

Surviving with his parents is his sister, DeAnna Gordon of Winchester, Virginia.

 

Kevin was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents; John (Pete) and Nellie Miller and his Paternal grandparents; Evelyn Gordon Desrosiers and Jesse Gordon.

 

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Joan Rainsberger officiating.  Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.

 

Pallbearers will be Bill Carl, Pat Grim, Roby Ketterman, Travis Mowery, Kenny Orr, Butch Weaver and Don White.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
