Ronald Eugene “Ron” Gordon, 81, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Gordon was born in 1942, the son of the late Jesse Gordon and Evelyn Desrosiers. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Winchester and a John Handley High School graduate, Class of 1961. Mr. Gordon was a former member of Hoppers Auto Club, an avid hunter, enjoyed riding his snow mobile, and loved drag racing. He was a partner in Valley Ready Mix for many years and then opened his own auto repair garage, Ron’s Repair. Mr. Gordon was a veteran, having served in the National Guard.

He married Marian Miller on November 25, 1964, at First Presbyterian Church in Winchester.

Surviving with his wife is daughter, DeAnna Gordon of Winchester, VA, and sister, Nancy McFarland of Bristow, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Kevin Gordon; two sisters, Juanita Rogers and Louise Hower; and brother, Bruce Gordon.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 2:30 pm in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, VA, with Pastor Mike Moulden officiating.
