Ronald Laurence “Ron” Tardif, 74, of Lake Frederick, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.
Ron was born in 1951 in Providence, RI, son of the late Lawrence and Helen Tardif. He was a graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket, RI and attended Bryant College. Always an individual to stay busy and loved working, Ron pursued many careers. His first being an Engineer at Hasbro, Inc. as well as various tech companies, such as Sun MicroSystems. He then became a Salesman for Gateway Computers and Capital One and eventually Ron became a Real Estate Broker for Weichert before moving to ReMax.
Ron enjoyed watching Fox News, was an avid New England Patriots fan, and collected M&M dispensers. He loved many genres of music, especially jazz. Ron was also a Kentucky Colonel. His greatest love and joy were being with his family.
Ron married Sharon Gagnon on August 25, 1979, in Pawtucket, RI.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Meaghan Tardif (John) of Springfield, VA and a son, Greg Tardif (Allison) of Waunakee, WI; grandchild, Hayley Tardif of Waunakee, WI; and sisters, Debi Brindamour (Tom) of Port Orange, FL, and Lisa Cote (Tom) of Seekonk, MA; and grand paw-paw to Josie (dog) Springield,VA.
