Roland Eugene Leavitt 43, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on October 13, 2026.

Born in Rockville, Connecticut, on September 16, 1983, Roland was the son of Kenneth Andrew Leavitt and Cheryl (Glover) Mawdsley. He was a man of Christian faith (baptized Episcopalian). Roland earned his GED and built a career in residential construction as a dedicated contractor, actively working toward obtaining his contractor’s license.

Roland was a pillar of both his community and the Thug Riders MC, where he was known as the reliable, go-to guy who got things done. Generous to a fault, he maintained an open-door policy at his home, welcoming anyone in need. An avid San Francisco 49ers fan, Roland found great joy in fishing, working on cars, and riding and working on his motorcycles. Above all, he loved his family and people, and he was always there for those around him.

Roland is survived by his fiancée, Aisha Lesane; his father, Kenneth Andrew Leavitt of New Hampshire; his mother, Cheryl Mawdsley of Front Royal, VA; his sister, Sarah Marie Leavitt of Connecticut; his children: Roland Eugene Leavitt, Jr. (Ally) of Williamsburg, VA, Owen Wayne Leavitt of Connecticut, Elizabeth Ann Leavitt of North Carolina, Chloe Renee Leavitt (Hunter) of West Virginia, and Lylah Rose Leavitt of Connecticut; his grandson, Caydyn Eugene Leavitt of West Virginia and his stepchildren, Martin Deporres Clark II and Olivia Anne Clark both of Winchester, VA.

A service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11am at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Minister Ruthann Jacobs will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
