Rodney A. Jenkins, 49, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at his residence.

Born on July 20, 1976, in Winchester, Virginia, he was the son of the late Richard A. Jenkins, Sr. and Helen Ann (Breeden) Jenkins. Rodney attended James Wood High School.

Rodney was known for his love of family and the joy he found in being a father and “Pop Pop.” He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed following Dale Earnhardt Jr., passions that brought him excitement and connection with others.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Jenkins, Mackenzie Jenkins, and Aubrey Jenkins; his grandson, Izaiah Dallas; his wife, Jennifer Jenkins (Soden); his brother, Richard Jenkins, Jr.; and his sister, Roxanna Orndorff (Mark). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Wilkerson.

Rodney will be remembered for his love of family, his spirited personality, and the pride he took in those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
