Robert William “Bob” Deinert, 63, of Rosedale, Maryland, passed away on June 5, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Deinert was born in 1957 in Grove City, PA, the son of the late Eileen Patricia and Robert Frank Deinert. He was a graduate of John Hopkins and Eastern Kentucky University where he received two Master’s Degrees. Mr. Deinert was employed as a Safety and Occupation Health Program Manager at the Veterans Administration in Perryville, MD.
Mr. Deinert was of the Roman Catholic faith. He loved to golf, fish and spending time at the family lake home in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed traveling, road trips with his beloved family, and music.
Surviving is daughter, Mallory Deinert of Boyce, VA; son, Sean Deinert (Paula) of Strasburg, VA; grandchildren, Mickayla, Madelyn and Brooklyn Cushman, Kyle Gordon, Abigail, Elizabeth and Catherine Deinert; sister, Karen Deinert of Grove City, PA; brother, Gary Deinert (Julie) of Cleveland, OH; niece and nephews, Gregory Deinert (Emily), Emily Deinert and Kevin Deinert; dogs, Poppy and Lewy; cats, Sophia and Pickles, 12 chickens and “Bruce” the rooster.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Caitlyn Cushman.
Private services will be handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Winchester, Virginia.

Our prayers go to the family. I worked with Bob at LB&B and was sorry to hear of his passing.

My condolences to Bob's family. I had the opportunity to work with him at the VA the last 6 years. He was a dependable and hard working staff member. It is a great loss to our medical center losing him. Prayers and heartfelt thoughts to the family.

I worked with Bob for several years. I appreciated his honesty and his dedication in taking care of his co-workers. I enjoyed (and will miss) his thoughts on football and the upcoming college and NFL seasons. My thoughts are with your family at this time.

Bob was my supervisor for the past seven years. He always had our backs and always had an open door policy if we needed anything. I will definitely miss hearing his voice from down the hall at work. RIP.

My condolences to Bob's family. I worked with (and played many a round of golf with) Bob when he was at Hopkins. He had a great sense of humor, a wicked slice, and was a fun person to work with. RIP, buddy.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Robert's family and friends. He was my supervisor at the VA Medical Center in Perryville MD. He was one of the most intelligent, organized and kind hearted Managers in this entire Center. He was an Exceptional Safety leader and very professional. He will greatly be missed! Prayers to the family and to his friends.
