I have known Bob all my life he was my American cousin who I met for the very first time a few years ago when I visited the states with my daughter Julie.
My memory is of listening to him speak and realising that even with an American accent he sounded just like my late father who was his fathers brother.
I am glad I met him at last and his family are very much part of ours even with an ocean between us.
