Robert Stephen “Steve” Dubuque, Jr.
Robert Stephen “Steve” Dubuque, Jr., of Stephens City, Virginia, died Thursday, December 17, 2009, in Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Steve was born in 1964, in Washington D.C., the son of Robert S. Dubuque, Sr. and the late Shirley Dubuque. He lived in the Maryland and Northern Virginia area for most of his adult life. Steve was a Volunteer EMT at Burtonsville, Maryland, Fire Department. He was a graduate of Friendly High School, Class of 1982 and attended Lord Fairfax Community College for Nursing until his health failed. Steve moved to Winchester in 2003 and lived in Rose Memorial Foundation for the last five years, until he returned to Northern Virginia last July.
Surviving with his father of Stephens City, Virginia, is his step-mother, Betty Dubuque, his sister, Sherry Dubuque of Stafford, Virginia; his 99 year old grandmother, Clara Toms of Bedford, Virginia; step-sister, Delores Fry and her husband, Bruce, of Winchester, Virginia; two step-brothers, Barry Bayne and his wife, Rhonda, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Larry Bayne and his wife, Ann, of Spotsylvania, Virginia; a beloved niece, Amanda Bourbeau of Stafford, Virginia; several aunts and uncles and his God-Father, Charles Bennsky of Winchester, Virginia.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 26, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Troy Heart officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, prior to the service, for one hour.
