Robert J. Kerin of Lake Frederick, VA passed away suddenly on January 26, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
Bob was born in 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Frederick and Marie Rumpf Kerin. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Doctorate of Education at George Washington University. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era. He worked at Rubbermaid Commercial Products in Winchester for 15 years, eventually becoming VP of Human Resources. His business career led him to homes in TN, OH, MI, CA, and then returning to Winchester after retirement.
Bob and his wife, Linda, were married in 1970 in Pittsburgh, PA.
He leaves this world as a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle. Surviving is his wife, Linda; sons, Michael of Ohio and Sean (Jocelyn) of Winchester; cherished grandsons, Aidan, Logan, and Kristian; sisters, Kathy, Janet (Mike), and Sue (Sam) all of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob truly treasured his many friends across the country, especially his buddies from “The Cav”.
