Robert “Bob” Hutchins, age 75, a resident of Berryville VA., passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 22, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center. He was born in Washington DC on April 28, 1943.
After leaving high school he joined the US Air Force. He later moved to Virginia Beach VA where he then worked for the Virginia Beach Municipal Center. He retired at Paramount Pest Control in Loudoun County VA.
Bob was a funny man and anyone that knew him, knew that he loved to eat and play jokes. His apartment was kept very neat and he had to know where everything was at all times. His favorite hobbies were collecting hats and bowie knives, camping and the great outdoors. He loved to watch movies, his favorite shows were Naked & Afraid and Blue Bloods. His partner in crime was his cat Garfield and his true love was Halle Berry. Bob adored his kids and grandkids, all who will love & forever cherish his memories.
He is survived by his son Douglas Johnson of Sugarland Run VA; daughters Kellie Hutchins and Shannon Lincoln of Winchester VA, Estelle Frye and husband Carl Frye of Sterling VA; granddaughter Natisha Hutchins Butler and husband Andrew Butler of Winchester VA; grandsons James Hutchins of Winchester VA, Travis Frye of Martinsburg WVA, David Frye of Sterling VA and Joseph Frye of Waterbury CT; great grandsons Davion and Simeon Butler of Winchester VA, Travis Frye Jr. of WVA, Elijah Frye of PA; great-granddaughter Sky’Lynn Frye of Waterbury CT; sister Paula Cox and husband Andy Cox of Sterling VA; and a host of family members.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Mildred Lee and Robert Hutchins, Sr., and daughter Lisa Hutchins.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.” A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
