Carol and Family, my deepest sympathy to you on Bob’s passing. I first met Bob in the mid-1980s at USGS in Reston where we were both members of the DIS Office. Over many years working with Bob, I was always impressed with his telecommunications network expertise and creative problem-solving ability. Bob was a nice man who I considered to be a friend. May he Rest In Peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Jessie left a message on May 11, 2023:
I first met Bob when he had shipped a router to Massachusetts, he guided me step by step through the set up. Many years later, I became his supervisor for little while. Whether I was a network rookie or his supervisor, Bob was consistently respectful and helpful. Bob was a pleasure to work with, so patient, so smart! He is still frequently mentioned in network discussions at USGS as the example to follow. My most sincere condolences to Carol, family and friends.
Gail Kalen left a message on May 11, 2023:
Bob and I worked together for many years. He was the network pioneer in not only WRD but also USGS. I will miss his laugh and his sunny disposition. Rest in peace, Bob.
