Robert Allen Huff, 68, of Rice, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Hiram Davis Medical Center in Petersburg, VA.

Robert was born in 1954 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Henry Wayne Huff, Jr. and Stella Victoria (Grites) Nichols. He participated in Special Olympics and The ARC of Northern Shenandoah Valley. Robert was an avid Redskins fan who also enjoyed watching movies, western shows and listening to old school country music. He loved going to farmers markets, apple orchards and during his youth spent time at Richards Fruit Market.

He is survived by his brother, Eugene Cooper of Knoxville, TN.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy Grites.

A visitation will be held for Robert on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10am with a service to follow at 11am, held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Morrison.
