Ricky Allen Brown, 72, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home.

Rick was born in 1952 in Marion, OH, the son of Mae (Conley) Brown and the late Wallace H. Brown. He served our country in the United States Air Force for 2 years, the United States Navy for 2 years and the Merchant Marines for 10 years. Rick retired in 2015 from Ferguson Enterprise in Quality Control. He was a member of the Free Patriots Motorcycle Club and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #824. Rick was also an avid bowler.

He married Patsy “Pat” Dodson on November 25, 1983, at Macedonia Church in White Post.

Rick is survived by his wife Pat, daughter, Dusti Minter, sons, Joe Dalton and Randy Stotler, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister, Cheryl Leazier and brothers, Roy “Skip” Brown and Randy Brown.

In addition to his father, Rick is preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Brown.

A visitation will be held for Rick on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2pm in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Reverend Craig Whitacre will officiate.
