Niki Vanech left a message on June 6, 2019:
When I remember Dick Berdaus I see laughter, I see him with my father, ice clinking in their scotch glasses sitting in our living room, enjoying conversations from sports to politics to the war. He gave us three beautiful, smart amazing girls who were our friends - Lisa, Elaine and Lois, and their love for him is a testament to his fatherhood and great character. Rest in Peace Mr Berdaus.

Mr. Berdaus, I will never forget dancing with you at Logan's wedding last year. You were the life of the party! You brought smiles to the faces of everyone who interacted with you. Thank you for sharing your joy with all of us, Janet

Thank you Dad for allowing me to become a part of your family. It was in 1981 that I enjoyed my first scotch with you. It has been a privilege to marry your first Daughter Lisa 37 years ago. I miss you so much and will always keep you in my heart. I appreciate your love, kindness and friendship.
