Richard Lee Lichvar, 55 of Fort Worth, TX passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Richard Lee Lichvar, 55 of Fort Worth, TX passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.
Lee was born in 1968 in Washington D.C., the son of Richard Lafayette Lichvar and the late Donna Lichvar.
He was a graduate of Park View High School in Sterling, VA. Lee was a former fireman at Sterling Volunteer Fire Dept. and Shenandoah Farms Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Lee enjoyed candle and jewelry making. In his younger years, he was very active with drama at his high school and with the Sterling Playmakers. Lee was a co-founder of Hope Fellowship Church where he was the treasurer for a number of years and was involved with the AV system.
He is survived by his father, Richard, stepmother Cathy Lichvar, sisters, Christina Marie Young (Austin) and Mary Beth Gibson, brother, Christian Andrew “Chris” Lichvar (Kelly), nephew, Drayke Gibson and his niece, Hannah Gibson.
A visitation will be held for Lee on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 10am with a service to be conducted at 11am all held at Kernstown United Methodist Church. Interment will be private.
