Dick's work in the District Disaster Ministries is fondly remembered, as well as all his special work, smiles and laughter at Calvary. My fondest memory is his testimony of finding the gold heart in the UVA parking lot the day that Denise was supposed to have her heart surgery. When a final test was insisted upon they discovered her surgery was not then needed. That's stayed with me all these years. His crowns will be many and I can see him in my minds eye laying them all at Jesus' feet. He was a servant and there is no better legacy to leave.
