Richard “Greg” McDonald
Richard Gregory McDonald, 53, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Friday, September 26, 2014, in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. McDonald was born in 1961, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Boyd and Patricia McDonald. Greg was a graduate of James Wood High School and was employed as a Nuclear Engineer in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Greg was a member of Ebenezer Christian Church in Gore, Virginia, and a member of Wareham Judo Club in Wareham, Massachusetts. He enjoyed fishing, working on his boat, bird watching, as well as, carpentry and working with his hands.
Survived by his parents from Gainesboro, Virginia, his daughter, Orrah Elizabeth Schultz of Winchester; sons, Boyd Juston McDonald of Coal City, Illinois, James Kyle McDonald (Samantha), of Stephens City, Virginia; grandchildren, Riddick and Danica McDonald, Rhythm Schultz, Jaxson and Avri McDonald; sister, Carole A. Jenkins (Wayne), of Gainesboro, Virginia; brothers, James Harris McDonald (Cindi), of Sacramento, California, Jeffrey Dean McDonald (Dawn), of Stephens City, Virginia; his loving companion, Debbie Triplett and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
