We are saddened to learn about Dick's demise. My association with Dick dates back to 1974 when I joined Ingersoll Rand at Philipsburg, NJ in Project Engineering. Dick was my first boss. Dick was a very bright manager/Engineer and I was lucky to learn a lot from a person of such a high caliber. I last met Dick in Tops in Olean, NY when he mentioned his problem with the eyes- probably Macular Degeneration. He otherwise looked healthy and alert. I could never imagine his end was so close. My meeting with him was probably two to three years back. I believe Mary was with him. We send our heartfelt condolences to Mary and family and pray that Dick's soul may rest in peace. Baljit and Damyant
