Rhonda J. Emmart of Frederick County, Virginia passed away peacefully Monday, April 15, 2019, at her home with her husband by her side, under the care of hospice.
Mrs. Emmart was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Cecile J. Flick and the late Galen C. Flick. She was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Italy. Mrs. Emmart worked at Winchester Airport and then joined her husband to work at the family business, Emmart Oil Company. She enjoyed water skiing, the outdoors, and was an animal lover. Her greatest passion was her family and spending time with family and friends.
She married Tim W. Emmart on March 12, 1993 in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her mother and husband is a sister, Babette Lundstrom of Somerset, Pennsylvania and a brother, Galen C. Flick, Jr. of Somerset, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Emmart was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Nikki Forrest.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Murphy and the staff at Winchester Pulmonary for the continued care and for the quality of life provided to Rhonda. Also, we thank Blue Ridge Hospice for the dignified care and support given to Rhonda and the family.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
