Lois Whitacre left a message on June 27, 2026:
I worked for Mr. Ray in the 60's at 1 hr cleaners next to Snow White Grill. He was a very caring boss and took good care of his employees. I talked with him about a year ago when I left my hubby 's suit to be cleaned and he actually knew my name. He said you worked for me back in the early days. My prayers go out to the family for your loss of a gem.

Ray was such a kind and caring soul. He was very dedicated to work, to his employees, customers family and friends. My late Mother, Gereeta Loy, enjoyed being a seamstress for the cleaners he owned. When he would come to clean the Arcades carpet, he would help move the games with me. I also remember one when I was heading to work, my muffler dropped loose and was dragging from my low sports car, right in front of his house. He grabbed a clothes hanger, and crawled underneath my low car, and anchored up my hot muffler. No charge. A friendly smile was all he asked for. Such a wonderful man and he'll be greatly missed. Fondly, Charlene "Loy" Anderson.
