What a sweet, dear man who had a profound impact on my life in the years I worked with him. He was a joy to be around and touched not only my heart but countless others' hearts as well. He is eternally singing for his Maker. A few Bible verses that speak to all this...2 Corinthians 5:8 says: "we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord." Philippians 1:23 says: "But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better." 1 Corinthians 15:52 says: "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." Revelation 21:21 says: "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass." And lastly, Revelation 21:18 says: "The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass." What a glorious day in Heaven that it must have been and how wonderful it must be to walk those streets of gold, uninhibited! He will be dearly missed but fiercely remembered for his kindness and sunny disposition among many other things.

I had the pleasure of working with Ray for many years. He was always happy and smiling, and his positive attitude brightened the day of everyone around him. I will always remember how much he enjoyed sitting in his rocking chair on the porch, watching his goats and taking in the simple joys of life. Ray was a kind and memorable person who will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
