Randy K. Kidwell

            Randy Keith Kidwell, 57, of Winchester, Virginia died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at his home, surrounded by family and friends.

            Mr. Kidwell was born in 1957 in Leesburg, VA, the son of Marjorie Mabe and the late Claude Kidwell. He was a warehouse supervisor for Airbus. Randy was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be forever remembered for his love of fishing with his brothers, being an avid redskins fan as well as his general love of the outdoors especially at his home. He spent countless hours cooking and grilling with his father in law, the late Mike Mullikin with their business, Firehouse Barbecue. Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

            He married Deborah Mullikin Kidwell on November 30, 1984 in Leesburg, VA.

            Surviving with his wife and his mother are two daughters, April Kidwell and Sandra Kidwell, both of Winchester, VA; a sister, MaryLou Lickey and life partner David Poland of Berryville, VA and two brothers, Danny Graham and wife, Patty, of Culpeper, VA and Michael “Mickey” Kidwell and wife, Lori, of Manassas, VA, as well as his childhood friend, Gary Shipp and wife, Karen; his mother-in-law, Sandra Mullikin and partner, Pete Todd and many nieces and nephews, extended family members and close friends.

            The family will receive friends on Friday, one hour before the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

            A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Chaplin Ken Patrick officiating. Inurnment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
