Rayford Laborde left a message on January 17, 2014:
I share your grief in this time of sorrow. I can not wipe your tears for you nor should they be wiped as for your father is with his father in heaven. You will treasure his memories forever and should someone say it will get better; it does only facial but not in your heart. I will pray not only for his soul but for you family as well. There is a cathederal near by that seems to help when you visit it. I will light a candle in your father's name. I wish I could be there for you.

My heart is heavy for the loss of my dear friend. What a blessing it was to have known you. And what a blessing it is to remember you. Few people come into our lives to change us for the better, These we call ,Angels flying too close to the ground. Too many fond memories to ever forget.. Until we meet again in that mansion in the sky. I rejoice in Heavens gain.

Trudy, Our thoughts and prayers are with you my dear. Your dad was a very wonderful man. We ran into them a lot at IHOP on Sunday mornings when he and his wife came to ear breakfast. We will miss seeing him very much. He always stopped to talk to Jim and I. Know that he is watching down on you. Love and thoughts Jim and Gloria Milburn. We did not come to the funeral home because he is having major back pain right now. I think the cold is making it worse. God bless you.
