Ralph E. “Roofus” Martin
Ralph Elliott “Roofus” Martin, 46, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, died Saturday, November 10, 2012, in his home.
Mr. Martin was born in 1966, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the son of Elizabeth Faircloth and the late James Faircloth. He was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1984. Ralph was a Belt Assembler at Ashworth Brothers for over 25 years. Roofus was a known for his warm and gentle soul. He had a special place in his heart for all animals especially his miniature Pincher Gracie. Roofus will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Surviving with his mother are three sisters, Mary Riley and husband, Dale, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Kathy Martin and significant other, Wayne and Tracey Faircloth and significant other Larry, all of Winchester as well as three nephews, Chris Wenk, James Bowen and Brandon Faircloth all of Winchester, and two great-nieces Katie and Katelyn, and two great-nephews Jacob and Tyler.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private.
