Phyllis L. Lockhart

Phyllis Etta Luttrell Lockhart, 71, of Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, died Thursday, September 9, 2010, in Presbyterian Hospital, Matthews, North Carolina.

Mrs. Lockhart was born in 1939, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Luttrell. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1958.

She married Tommy Dick Lockhart, Jr. on November 8, 1964, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with her husband, is her son, Charles Lockhart and his wife, Heather, of Marvin North Carolina; grandson, Brody Lockhart; sister, Rose Lockhart and husband, Beverley, of Shacklefords, Virginia; and brothers, Charles Luttrell and wife, Diane and Russell Luttrell and wife, Brenda, all of Winchester, Virginia.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Steve Melester officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
