Phyllis Ann Riggleman passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at her home.

Phyllis was born in 1944 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Raymond and Dollie Arnold. She retired as a childcare teacher for Rosedale Kiddie Kollege. Phyllis was a member of Open-Door Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the beach and most of all loved spending time with her family and being “Nan” to her grandchildren.

Phyllis married Jack E. Riggleman, Sr. in July of 1973 and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Slater, Michael Riggleman (Tiersa), Mitchell Riggleman, Sr. and Jeffrey Riggleman (Kim); stepchildren, Wanda McFadden, Victor Riggleman, Judith Turner, Linda Tyson, Jack Riggleman, Jr., Roger Riggleman and Kenneth Riggleman; brothers, Melvin, Douglas and Roger Arnold and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Phyllis is preceded in death by her sisters, Emma Puffinburger, Dorothy Mason; her brothers, Clifton Arnold and Donnie Arnold, Sr. and her grandson Gregory Scott Slater Jr.

A visitation will be held for Phyllis on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:30am with a service to be conducted at 12:30pm all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
