Peter Rocco Soriano, 95, of Clear Brook, VA, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital.
Peter was born in 1930 in New Jersey, the son of the late Joseph and Philomena Soriano. He served our country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. He retired as Executive Vice President from Amax/U.S. Metals. After early retirement, he became the owner/operator of an Environmental Testing Lab and won inclusion as a Distinguished Member of Who’s Who Worldwide in the 94-95 registry of Business Leaders for having demonstrated outstanding leadership and achievement in his industry. He took great pride in providing accurate results and keeping his employees a high priority.
Peter loved sharing wonderful times with his family and friends, bowling and playing poker through to the end of his vibrant life.
He married the love of his life, Beverley Elaine Wood on November 29, 1959, and they enjoyed traveling the world together until she preceded him in death in August of 2020.
Peter is survived by his 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Beverley, Peter is preceded in death by his sister, Norma Losavio and his brother, Joseph Soriano.
A service will be held for Peter on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 5pm with a time of food and fellowship to follow, all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Morrison.
Interment will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10am in Somerset Hills Memorial Park & Chapel Mausoleum in Basking Ridge, NJ.
