Peter Hasson LaBeau, 90, of Winchester, VA, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born in Martinsburg, WV in 1936, the son of the late George Albert LaBeau and Bessie Hasson LaBeau Saine and stepson of Guy A. Saine since the age of six.

Mr. LaBeau was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Martinsburg, WV and an eight-year veteran of the United States Navy.

Retiring from Lear Corp (O’Sullivan), he was a member and officer of several trade organizations while employed.  Mr. LaBeau was also a life member of Elks Lodge 867; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 824; Life Member of Winchester Moose Lodge 1283 and Rock Harbor Golf Club, where he enjoyed three holes in one.  He was an avid fan of UVA sports.

Mr. LaBeau is survived by his wife of 62 years, Faye Osborne LaBeau; one son, Guy Robert LaBeau of Eagle Rock, VA; two grandsons, Patrick Saine LaBeau of Beaumont, CA and Nicholas Clay LaBeau of Woodbury, MN; one great grandson, Logan Saine LaBeau of Beaumont, CA and Baby LaBeau of Woodbury, MN, expected to be born September 4; one niece, Beverly Osborne Thorpe of Virginia Beach, VA, who was raised by the LaBeaus, and her two sons, Neal Anthony Thorpe of Virginia Beach, VA and the late Robert Christopher Thorpe.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
