Pauline R. Boyce
Pauline Richard Castleman Boyce, 92, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Spring Arbor Assisted Living.
Mrs. Boyce was born in 1920, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Stewart and Iva Castleman. She was a homemaker and co-owner, with her husband, of Boyce’s Western Shop. Mrs. Boyce was a member of Redland United Methodist Church.
She married William “Bill” Boyce on April 15, 1939, in Winchester, Virginia. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, William “Billy” Boyce of Winchester, Commander Richard “Dick” Boyce, U.S. Navy Retired, and wife, Susan, of King George, Virginia; five grandchildren, William Matthew Boyce, III and wife, Felicia, Mark Leon Boyce and wife, Molly, Tracy Lynn Mizell and husband, Pat, Paige Leigh George, Dee Laine Soli; seven great grandchildren; sister, Janet Russell of Stephens City, and Nancy Walker of Clarksville, Virginia. One brother, Robert Castleman, and two sisters, Charlotte Bauserman and Katherine Wine, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Mike Kendall officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
