Pauline May “Polly” Crim
Pauline May “Polly” Crim, 86, of Winchester, passed away, Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
Mrs. Crim was born in 1923, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Harry and Rose Clark. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Crim was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Blue Ridge Twirlers Square Dance Group and honorary member of Winchester Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
Her husband, Charles T. “Chuck” Crim, Sr., whom she married on May 12, 1946 in Alexandria, Virginia, preceded her in death on June 21, 2004.
Surviving is a daughter, Patty C. Funkhouser of Stephens City; two sons, Robert D. Crim of Tampa, Florida and Chuck Crim, Jr. of Clearwater, Florida; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Harry Clark, Jr. of Maryland. She is preceded in death by two sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Michael Q. Mayton officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Crim, Jr., T.J. Funkhouser, Terry Funkhouser, Bob White, and Charlie Shipe.
The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel on Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
