Pauline L. White
Pauline L. White, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. White was born in Needmore, West Virginia, the daughter of Susan C. Ventsam. She attended Hardy County, West Virginia Schools. Mrs. White was a machine operator with O’Sullivan Corporation in Winchester, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Hardy County, West Virginia. She was also a member of the Strasburg Moose Lodge (Women of the Moose) 1319, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 824-Winchester and the Stephens City VFW (Ladies Auxiliary) 2123.
Surviving with her longtime companion, Donald Johnston of Stephens City, are her sons, Roger Ray White and wife, Robin, of Winchester, Steven Lee White and wife, Connie, of Stephens City; grandchildren, Joshua White, Jennifer White, Rhonda Grim and husband, Terry; great grandchildren, Samantha Brittain, Aaron Grim, Landyn White-Trammel; and great great grandson, Levi Brittain.
One son, Allen Bean White and step-son, William Fletcher, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Mr. David A. Owings officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Ron Downey, Steve Taylor, Russell Shull, Jimmy Brown, Aaron Grim and Richard Walker. Honorary Pallbearer will be J.D. Lawyer.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moose Haven, 1701 Park Avenue, Orange Park, Florida, 32073.
