Patrick Farris left a message on November 28, 2022:
I wanted to extend my condolences, albeit late, to your family. I had not realized that Paul had passed away until recently, and I am so sorry for your loss, and also that I was not able to attend his service to extend condolences to you all in person. I served with Paul on the MHAA Board around 15 years ago and we worked on some of the same committees. As mundane as that may sound it was a pleasure to spend time working with Paul. He had a great sense of humor and possessed an incredible well of knowledge and experience, and although separated by four decades in age we shared laughs and discussions as if we had gone to school together. This was quintessential Paul Ziluca: affable, approachable, refined without being aloof, cultured without being snooty. In later years I was able to visit with him at Westminster-Canterbury whenever I came over as a guest speaker. I have missed him and will continue to miss him. It is often said of notable people that they were "one of a kind," but this saying cannot be more true when applied to Paul. I am fortunate to have known him.

From late dinners on Loch Raven Drive to late night carousing in Kitzbuhel, Col. Ziluca kept us on our toes as children, and Paul made us laugh as adults. He and Louise were great friends of my Mom, Mickey. Forever missed. Sending love and big hugs to the family. xoxo, Kim and Mark Hedberg

My sincere condolences to the Paul Ziluca family. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet Paul & Louise when my parents were residents of SVWC - and, especially appreciated Paul’s intellect, sense of humor and thoughtful input when we worked together as Board Members and Committee Members at SVWC. Sincerely, Sara

Dear Louise, Isobel, Joe, Loveday, and Max, Please accept my sincere condolences to all of you on Paul’s passing. What a larger than life personality he had! I remember with fondness his congeniality when Isobel’s friends would descend on the Upperville house in the summers to swim, party, and more; he and Louise were gracious hosts and we all had a ball! I pray for all of you that the grief that you are enduring now will one day be replaced with fond memories of the times you got to spend with Paul when he was alive. With deepest sympathy to all of you, Holly Hoopes Hudimac
