Paul “Paulie” Douglas Grammo, 52, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
Mr. Grammo was born in 1965, the son of Reynald and Grace R. Grammo. He received his nursing degree from ECPI in Manassas and worked as an LPN at Shenandoah Oncology and also assisted at the Winchester methadone clinic. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Paul was an avid Miami Dolphins and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed going to drive-in movies and concerts where he and his wife would always “check in’ on Facebook. Paul enjoyed cooking and eating, spending time with family and friends, and was always there to lend a helping hand, give a smile when needed and a hug when necessary.
Paul married Angela Legge on April 5, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter, Savannah Grammo; a step son, Kyle Macomber; a sister, Amy Feather (Scott); brothers, Michael Grammo (Kathy), Mark Grammo (Julianna), and Jeff Grammo (Donna); nieces, Sheila and Audrey Grammo and Kelly Davis; nephews, Jonathan Grammo, Michael Grammo (LeAnne), Travis Grammo (Caroline), Jason Grammo (Sarah), Jordan, Jacob and Cameron Grammo; great niece, Gracie Davis; great nephews, Preston, Tyler, Joseph, Jackson, and Joey Grammo; and his loving four legged companions, Patches and Sasha (Paul’s Princess).
A Gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, February 19th from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Omps, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted immediately following the gathering at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. B.G. Turner officiating. Interment will be private. Paul’s family ask that you dress casual and if you are a Red Sox or Dolphin fan, please wear you finest team gear.
