Paul D. Veach
Paul Dewayne Veach, 60, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015, at his home.
Paul was born in 1954, in Palatka, Florida, the son of Dollie Veach and the late William Veach. He was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Class of 1973.
Paul loved nature, he was very creative and greatly enjoyed quilting, painting, and herb gardening. He adored his cats and beloved dog “Woody”, but he especially loved all of his family.
Surviving with his mother of Augusta, West Virginia, are his sisters, Gayle Tutwiler (James) of Augusta, West Virginia, Phyllis Norris of Winchester, Karen Swisher of Augusta, Sharilyn Rayess (Haitham) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Linda Catlett (Donald) of Augusta, Susan Veach (Frank Humphrey) of Capon Bridge, West Virginia; brothers, Phil Veach (Wanda) of Winchester, James Veach of Augusta, Michael Veach (Connie), of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Marshall Veach (Sherry), of Augusta; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and close friend, Paul “Sonny” Defino.
Paul’s oldest brother, Gary W. Veach preceded him in death in 2011.
Two brothers in law, Cecil Norris and Dino Swisher, also preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Christ Community Church in Augusta, West Virginia, with Pastor Don Kesner and Reverend Bob Combs officiating. Interment will be private.
