Pat Hibbs, 78, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed on and earned his wings February 8, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born July 26, 1937. He served in the Airforce, loved to fly, and was very passionate about airplanes. He retired from ABex in Winchester, Virginia, in 2010.

Survived by his loving wife, Wanda Hibbs; his two daughters, Leslie Armel and Michelle Drummond and many loving family and friends and very special person Chad Brill; and one sister, Jane Ramey.

Pat was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Hibbs and two brothers, Robert Hibbs and Sonny Hibbs.

A private graveside will be held for immediate family. Friends are invited to sign his Memory Book at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I never met your daddy Leslie, I have heard many stories about his life and I know you loved him so so much. You and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted to say how sad I was to hear that Pat had passed. I know he lived a full life and enjoyed being around family and friends. You will always have the memories of the time with him. We will all be reunited in heaven but until then know he is looking down on all of us and shaking his head and laughing. Love you all and prayers and thoughts are with you during what I know is a very difficult time
