Patricia V. Davis

Mrs. Patricia Virginia Hardy Davis, age 68, of Winchester, VA, died Friday, January 13, 2012, at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, West Virginia.

Mrs. Davis was born in 1943 in Round Hill, VA, the daughter of the late Raymond Wilson and Helen Virginia Hardy. She was retired from Safeway Food Stores where she was a Customer Service Representative. Mrs. Davis loved playing Bingo and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Marvin Davis, preceded her in death on March 4, 2003.

Surviving is a daughter, Stacey Mabe and husband, Lee of Winchester, VA; a son, Earl Bennett, Sr. and wife, Terese of Albany, NY; Three grandchildren, Carrie Bennett, Earl Bennett, Jr. and Kristen Roberson and husband Alonzo; Four great grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews; and two sisters, Kathleen Hix of Fairfax, VA and Brenda Touvell of Winchester VA.

Two sisters, Peggy Harkleroad and Eileen Thurston, and two brothers, Wilson Hardy and Billy Hardy, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Clarence R. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
