Patricia “Pat” Lou (Frye) Haymaker, 92, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the Village at Orchard Ridge.

Pat was born in 1931 in Wardensville, WV, the daughter of the late, Ernest and Ruth Frye. She was a graduate of John Handley High School, Class of 1949. She worked as a receptionist for Winchester OBGYN and retired from the Winchester Surgical Clinic. Pat was a dedicated member of Bethel Lutheran Church.  She loved knitting, and enjoyed needlepoint and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and they were her life.

She married Richard Benjamin “Petie” Haymaker, Sr. on July 28, 1950 in Burkittsville, MD. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2012.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Judith “Judi” Lynn Stotler; son, Richard “Richy” Benjamin Haymaker, Jr.; grandchildren, Richard Benjamin Haymaker III (Jenna), Emily Fletcher (Derek), and John Hunter and 7 great-grandchildren, Oliver, Simmon, Alisa, Jonah, Silas, Sadie, and Liam.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Michael Benjamin Stotler and sister, Marge Bywaters.

Celebration of Life for Pat will be held at a later date.
