Patricia Ann Wilson Woerner, age 87, of Clear Brook, VA, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at The Willows at Meadowbranch.

Ms. Woerner was born in 1924 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Herbert Eugene and Thelma Wilson. Pat held a bachelor’s degree from Millersville State Teachers College, and was employed as a school teacher at Willow Street Elementary School. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Patricia was passionate about many things in life including being a member of the church choir, cooking, sewing and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She married William Henry Woerner on May 11, 1944. Mr. Woerner preceded her in death in March, 2000.

Surviving is a daughter, Libby McCourt and her husband, Patrick Jenkins of Clear Brook, VA; a son, Hank Woerner of Nashville, TN, a granddaughter, Anna Woerner McCourt of Clear Brook, VA, and a brother, Herb. Wilson, of Warrensville, IL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lahr.

All Services will be private.
