Page Franklin Huffman, 85, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Huffman was born in 1932, in Frederick County, Virginia, the son of the late Arthur and Sadie Huffman. He attended Stephens City High School and graduated from James Wood High School. Mr. Huffman retired from Abex Corporation after 40 years of service. He was a quiet man who enjoyed fishing, gardening (especially his flower garden), and a true patriot who loved his country. His greatest passion was his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Huffman was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stephens City.
He married Elva Lewis Huffman in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife of 65 years are daughters, Janice Llewellyn and Marsha DeHaven, both of Winchester, Virginia; grandchildren, Talbert Foster DeHaven of Richmond, Virginia, Jacob DeHaven of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Daniel DeHaven of Winchester, Virginia, Bethany DeHaven of Winchester, Virginia, and Kerri Shiflett of Grottoes, Virginia; and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Huffman was preceded in death by sisters, Emily Heath, Margorie Teets, Barbara Kain, and Connie Smoke; and brother, John David Huffman.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.
