We loved Opal as a dear friend. She made a Christmas quilt for Church which we have and will always treasure!! We know that Opal is safely in heaven with her good friends Brenda and Marie.

I worked with Opal when I was a nursing assistant. ( late 70's to very early 80's) . Also, my mother, Dorothy Wilt Lineberg worked with her. Condolences. It is hard to lose a loved one. I lost my 1st husband over 3 yrs ago. I started a notebook of memories of my husband & things we did together. ( Me going into labor & all those details. Favorite colors, songs, foods. His shoe size & clothing, ...Recipes that he made up that we enjoyed. I decided 10-15 pr 20 yrs down the rosd, I may not rememberall thosethings..

I was deeply saddened to hear the passing of Opal. Opal was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many people, especially mine. She loved her family. Our families were connected in many ways. We also looked out for each other when we were going through difficult times. I have a lot of fond memories, Tammy and I have fun times at Steve and Opal’s home, especially when we had lasagna dinner on New Year’s Day. She will be missed.
Rev. Gary and Debbie Palmer left a message on January 21, 2025:
Brother Steve and family, Pastor Gary and I loved Sister Opal so much. Remembering entering the doors of Faith Fellowship Church, Sister Opal sitting in the corner "Queen's" chair with a smile on her face and always a huge hug. So thankful for all the memories of the bazaars, dinners and playing of the guitar at many services. Also the beautiful quilts (which we are proud to own 3 of those). May God wrap His loving arms around each one of you a little tighter during this difficult time. We will miss her dearly as you know you, Bro. Steve and your family will also. Love, hugs and Prayers to all. Until we have the privilege to meet on the Heavenly Shore again, Look For Me!!!
