Ollie Meadows, 85, of Warren County, Virginia died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Lynn Care Facility in Front Royal, Virginia.

Mrs. Meadows was born in 1931 in Takoma Park, Maryland, the daughter of the late John and Bessie White and was the youngest of eight children. She has been preceded in death by five of her brothers and sisters. Ollie graduated from Blair High School in Maryland. Mrs. Meadows was a loving wife, and an outstanding mother to her two children and was also co-owner of the Double Toll Gate Mini-Mart in Frederick County, Virginia with her husband Edward R. Meadows.

Her husband, Edward R. Meadows, preceded her in death on June 21, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, JoLynn S. Meadows on June 26, 2006.

Surviving is a son, Wayne L. Meadows of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Mary Padillo and husband, Gabe of Winchester, Virginia; brother, Robert White and wife Ruby of Takoma Park, Maryland; grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, and Aaron of Tampa, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. till 2 pm with a funeral service to follow at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, Virginia.
