Oleta M. Seal
Oleta Mae DeHaven Seal, 82, formerly of Winchester, Virginia, died Friday, January 8, 2010 in Front Royal, Virginia.
Mrs. Seal was born in 1927 in Frederick County, VA, the daughter of the late Guy and Sadie DeHaven. She was a checker for ACME Markets for 38 years, and more recently, a bagger for Martin’s Grocery Store on Pleasant Valley Road. She was a member of Montague Avenue United Methodist Church and a graduate of Middletown High School.
She married James Randolph Seal on August 31, 1957 in Edinburg, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Craig Seal and wife, Carla of Glen Allen, VA; a grandson, Thomas Seal; a sister, Aline White and husband, Hugh of Moseley, VA; a brother-in-law, Broaddus Welsh, of Winchester, and six nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Welsh.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Reverend Pete Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
