Noah D. Riley

Noah Daniel Riley, 64, of Frederick County, VA, died Friday, July 16, 2010, in Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.

Mr. Riley was born in 1945, in Warren Co., VA, the son of Elizabeth Virginia Riley of Strasburg, VA, and the late John Daniel Riley. He was a truck driver with H. H. Omps having served for many years, retiring in 2007 from Simbeck.

He married Marjory Ann Emerson on November 23, 1991, in Clearbrook, VA.

Surviving with his mother and his wife, are his daughters, Rita Benson of Winchester, Bobbie Riley of Hedgesville, WV; two sons, Nelson Ralph Riley of Newport News, John Daniel Riley of Winchester, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. A son, Noah D. Riley II, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday with Major Dan Turner officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
