Rest in Peace, Uncle Lee. I miss the times you and Aunt Sue, Lee Donald, Alan and I spent so much time together when you lived in Sterling, Virginia, Flint and Auburn in Michigan. And our golf outings!! You were a good husband and father and Uncle. Lee . Not to mention one heck of a sax player! I've missed those times and being close, especially since from being my "little angel" who I couldn't spoil enough, Lee Donald has grown into an adult I don't know. Though time and distance separated us, and some much discussed life philosophies, we at least were able to keep in touch at times. And, remember, Uncle Lee- when you are hitting those 2nd (and 3rd and 4th......) fairway shots- God is watching. There is no " fluffing the ball" ( with a TEE!) in Heaven. Blessings and sympathy to your wife and Lee Donald, Love you- Jill and Alan

Lee was one of a kind, a great friend, fellow REALTOR and an all around good human being. He will be missed. His sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days. I never knew what he would say, but he was sure to bring a chuckle, if not an outright laugh. Thank you my friend for being you, you made the world better with your presence. Rest in peace.

What I knew of Lee Mellon was all good. He raised a son, our son-in-law, with only one fault which was to loudly gun his purple Mustang on Argonne Avenue. That brought him to our attention in Sterling and especially to our daughter Monica. That’s a story Lee D will tell you if he wants. Lee Sr shared a grandson with us. I’m sure they played many video games together. He was indeed a role model for Reed as he matured. Lee Sr was a strong and ambitious man working in Realty when he could have retired. Then he met a lovely and faithful wife in Yuliya. His commitment to her was wonderful to see. Now Lee will always be remembered by us in different ways but to me he will be the man who loved music and always carried his coffee mug, enjoying life. Rest in peace Dear Lee. Lois and George Foy
