Mr. Michael Thomas Bohan, 80 of Charles Town, WV died on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Mr. Bohan was born in 1944 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of Francis and Anne Bohan. Michael was a retired Merry Maids owner and was a combat veteran in the United States Army earning the Vietnam Campaign medal while attached to the 1st BCT Brigade.

He married Verda J. Bohan on June 20, 1970, in Arlington, VA. His family was everything to him and he was the proudest Grandfather. His family is his legacy.

Surviving with his wife of 54 years is his son, Donald Bohan (Alice), daughters, Erin Guarente (Brian), Lindsey Harrington (Coby); daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bohan; grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan (Rachel), Caitlin, Madeline, Cameron, Chase, Gianna, McKenna, Hunter, Anthony, Dominic, Logan, Talon and Luca; great-grandchildren, Maveric and Dahlia and three nieces, Anne Marie Stacey, Rene Greening, Sally Stone and countless family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bohan, his grandson, Kyle Bohan and siblings, Irene Rush, Margaret Hosking, Jack Bohan and William Bohan.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10am with a service to be conducted at 11am all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
