Michael Shawn Crookham, 67 of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mike was born in 1958 in Washington D.C., the son of the late Perry and Dorothy Crookham. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and retired as a baker for Giant Food Markets. Mike was a member of the Buick Club of America and the Moose Lodge in Front Royal. He enjoyed being a vanner, working on his Buicks, music, playing drums and his motorcycles. Mike could always find a way to bring people together, he loved socializing and was always up for a good debate.

He is survived by his wife, Mari Louise whom he married on May 6, 2000, his sister, Lynn King of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Seth; and nieces Ellen & Jane.

There will be a Celebration of Mike’s Life that will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mike Crookham to Warren County Humane Society, 1245 Progress Dr., Front Royal, VA 22630.
