Dearest Heather, We worked together for only a short year and sadly I never knew Michael but through your Facebook posts I know how much you meant to each other. Since your post of his hospitalization until the very sad news of his passing, I've been praying for his recovery and strength for you and your girls. And this is something I'll continue to do. Sending a big hug. Oshila xoxo

I've just received word of Michael's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very relatable Sysco rep because he was a chef. He got it, and truly knew the give and take of the business. We did not get much opportunity to spend that much time together because our worlds are so busy. I do want his family to know that you were very much a part of each and every day and he always spoke of you. I hope you find some peace and comfort as you navigate his passing.
Anna Crossman left a message on June 24, 2025:
Michael was my sysco rep with claires at the depot in Warrenton, va. I really enjoyed working with Michael because he was a former chef. Always ready to give ideas and advice. He understood the restaurant "beast" and was there to help not just make the sale. His sense of humor was unique like him. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
